Grilling:Cooking food to perfection on the grill, ensuring proper temperature and doneness. Plating and Presentation:Garnishing and plating dishes attractively, according to established standards. Maintaining a Clean Work Area:Keeping the grill station, equipment, and utensils clean and organized. Following Recipes and Procedures:Adhering to recipes, portion sizes, and cooking times. Food Safety:Ensuring food safety and sanitation practices are followed throughout the process. Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels and reporting shortages or expired items. Teamwork:Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Communication:Communicating with waitstaff and other kitchen personnel to coordinate orders. Equipment Maintenance:Ensuring grills and other equipment are in good working order and reporting any issues. Essential Skills: Grilling Techniques:Solid understanding of various grilling techniques and temperatures. Food Safety Knowledge:Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations. Time Management:Ability to work efficiently and quickly, especially during busy service periods. Teamwork and Communication:Ability to work effectively with others and communicate clearly.
